Your Counsellor

Hi, I'm Chantelle,

I'm a counsellor, clinical supervisor, and the founder of Mind&Me, but before anything else, I'm human with many hats, mother, sister, daughter, friend.... and somewhere in there, the house fairy, dishwasher stacker, laundry attended, toilet roll changer and family taxi too.

I understand the weight of juggling life, care, and expectations because I live it too and understand how heavy life can feel.

I've spent over a decade walking alongside people during some of their most vulnerable moments, when things feel overwhelming, confusing, painful, or quietly exhausting. My work is rounded in compassion, honesty, and the belief that healing doesn't come from being "fixed," but from being genuinely understood.

Mind&Me was created as a space where you don't have to preform, explain or hold it all together. A space where it's okay to slow down, feel, reflect, and come back to yourself, at your own pace.

My Approach

I work in a way that is trauma-informed, relational, and deeply human.

That means;

  • I priorities emotional safety and trust
  • I meet you where you are without judgment or pressure
  • I value your lived experience as much as any framework or theory

Whether I'm supporting a client or supervising a fellow counsellor, my focus is the same creating a steady, supportive space where growth can unfold naturally.

I draw from a range of therapeutic approached including CBT. ACT. DBT, schema-informed, EFT (Tapping) and person-centered practice, always tailoring the work to the individual rather than forcing a one size fits all model.

Experience & Background

I have over ten years' experience working across diverse setting including;

  • Community and non-profit services
  • Government -funded programs
  • Schools and youth services
  • Residential and aged care settings
  • National Helplines
  • NDIS, Workcover, EAP and Victim Support services.

This breath of experience allows me to hold complexity with care, understanding not just personal distress, but the systems, pressures, and histories that often sit underneath it.

I support clients across the lifespan and from a wide range of cultural and life backgrounds, with particular experience in trauma, loss, grief, family violence, and complex emotional presentations including PTSD.
